John began fundraising back in 2010 and the rest as they say, is history!

Working in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Lincolnshire managing and leading various teams, John has always been at the top of his game. Able to self motivate and keep energy levels high, he’s at his happiest mentoring and helping others achieve their own goals. All done whilst still leading from the front.

Whilst there have been stints with other charities such as Guide Dogs, WWF and The Wildlife Trusts (conservation is another of his big passions) his knowledge and love of Dogs, always led him back to Dogs Trust.

Having previously worked as a Venue Co - Ordinator on The Wildlife Trust and The Armed Forces Charity - SSAFA campaigns, Amanda’s journey with Dogs Trust started in 2021. Venue finding in Scotland after the pandemic, just as it was coming out of lock down, was definitely a baptism of fire!

Starting an agency together has been a longtime dream. Securing such a large area supporting Dogs Trust - the icing on the cake!

The Pulse journey has well and truly begun. The team’s growing fast and we are already making our mark.

Originally starting out with the S, DN, HU & LN postcodes, the addition of DE, NG, LE & PE in 2025 has almost doubled the territory our Pulse Fundraisers now cover.
